Human Resources Assistant (min. 0.8 FTE)

We are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive, energetic and very experienced Human Resources Assistant to perform this key position in our Human Resources department . You will be responsible for the daily administrative HR tasks. HR has a central place in our dynamic organisation and you will be working closely with (members of) the Finance and Training Departments. As part of our Human Resource team, currently four people, you will report to our Director Human Resources.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The HR Assistant:

  • Acts as first point of contact for employees: answer questions of resources in a professional and adequate way (in cooperation with the Human Resources Business Partner);
  • Is responsible for HR mailbox and follows up the actions out of the emails ;
  • Prepares the monthly payroll by providing the Salary Specialist relevant data about monthly changes in the personnel administration, and has a good understanding of working with Eexcel;
  • Ensures a complete and adequate administration of compensation and benefits (payroll changes, secondary employment benefits, bonus, health insurance, holiday registration, lease car administration etc.);
  • Ensures a lawful and smooth hiring and de-contracting process with regard to employment contracts, payroll and secondary employment benefits;
  • Manages the personnel files;
  • Manages the org charts and keeps them up-to-date;
  • Acts as administrator for sick leave: manages sick leave timelines, reports on numbers, percentages, etc.;
  • Is responsible for the monthly HR newsletter for Julius Clinical employees;
  • Is responsible for keeping our Internet page up to date;
  • Prepares the HR Meeting and makes the minutes of the HR Meeting ;
  • -Organises and plans company events and activities in cooperation with the Office Management department;
  • Can be involved in recruitment interviews for candidates selected by employment agencies;
  • Generates management information: regarding sick leave, personnel administration, in- and outflow etc. Is capable of making management reports (PowerPoint);
  • Is responsible for keeping the HR Handbook up to date: adjust processes, policies, etc.

Job Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in working as a HR Administrator (7-10 years);
  • Higher level of education (HBO), preferably in Human Resources or Finance;
  • Up-to-date knowledge of the Dutch Labour Law for function-related topics;
  • Extended experience in working with Microsoft Office (especially with Excel) and in working with Human Resources software (Agresso/Unit4, sick leave administration, etc.);
  • Adequate command of written and verbal Dutch and English;
  • Preferably experience with (assisting in) the implementation of a new HR Administration system.
  • Competencies: independent, service minded, resourceful and creative, precise and a nice colleague to work with.
