Infectious diseases

Julius Clinical’s experience in infectious disease research is epitomized by the CAPiTA study (Community Acquired Pneumonia Immunization Trial in Adults). This remains the largest vaccine trial worldwide conducted in adults aged 65 years or older, involving more than 85,000 patients in the Netherlands. Examples of other studies performed by Julius Clinical include the MOSAR study of antibiotic resistance.
