Dr. Kerstin Klipstein-Grobusch is an associate professor and academic coordinator at Julius Global Health. Her research foci include non-communicable diseases, research capacity building in epidemiology, and public health in middle- and low-income countries.

Dr. Joyce Browne, M.D., Ph.D.’s focus is maternal health (especially hypertensive disorders of pregnancy), clinical epidemiology, and capacity building in low- resource settings.
Who we are
Africa Clinical provides much-needed access to clinical sites in sub-Saharan Africa. The network consists of dozens of local investigators from numerous countries at over 100 sites. These investigators and sites have tremendous experience and a strong track record.
Where we come from
Africa Clinical was created by Julius Clinical and Julius Global Health to solve a problem. We created and continue to manage Africa Clinical because it provides sub-Saharan Africa with a cross-border network of local investigators and institutes that run expert clinical trials.
What we do
Rigorous clinical trials carried out by expert local investigators under Julius Clinical’s QMS. We’re working to elevate the research capacity of sub-Saharan Africa by running pharma-driven clinical trials with experienced local professionals. This bolsters capabilities and contributes to development.
