Primary Care Research Network
PCRN is our European network for late phase and observational studies in areas frequently presented in primary care practices.
General practitioners (GPs) are often the first to know about patients’ health problems. The GPs in our network help their patients and their communities through involvement in clinical research.
Who we are
PCRN was formed by Julius Clinical because we believe that conducting research in primary care settings is the best way to move innovative clinical research closer to patients. This approach has the additional benefit of increasing understanding of clinical trials across a wide range of medical conditions because primary care settings are not specialized. Patients first visit GPs for a variety of health-related reasons. This creates a situation where affiliated GPs and their communities can both benefit from, and contribute to, clinical research activities.
What we do
PCRN provides smart clinical trial design and oversight, industry-leading patient recruitment and retention, and peerless operational execution of studies for our Sponsors. We focus on delivering patient-centric clinical trials that have the potential to lead to real improvements in patient care. PCRN supports Sponsors in feasibility studies, late-phase trials, observational studies, and investigator-initiated trials that we execute with the care and precision you can expect from an academic CRO.
