Webinar: Real-World Data in ALS
On 30 May, we hosted the webinar “Real-World Data in ALS”, in which we explored the innovative integration of Real World Data (RWD) in clinical trials for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS). As a critical step forward in the pursuit of effective treatments and improved patient outcomes, this webinar aimed to shed light on the invaluable insights that RWD can provide.
Hosted by Lieza Exalto, Scientific Officer at Julius Clinical, this webinar featured Ruben van Eijk, Assistant professor at UMC Utrecht and TRICALS, and Mark van Dijk, Real World Evidence, Early Senior Strategy Lead, UCB Pharma, who discussed:
- Hybrid controlled clinical trials using concurrent registries in ALS: A feasibility study
- Use of real-world data in clinical drug development: An industry perspective
